Business Activities of the Research Analyst
- Publish research reports based on independent analysis
- Provide unbiased views and recommendations with disclosure of financial interests
- Base recommendations on publicly available information and known observations
- Conduct annual audits
- Ensure advertisements comply with SEBI's Advertisement Code
- Maintain records of client interactions, including pre-onboarding discussions
Services Provided to Investors
- Client onboarding
- Sharing terms and conditions of research services
- KYC completion for fee-paying clients
- Disclosure of material information, disciplinary history, risks, and conflicts
- Disclosure of AI usage in research services
- Disclosure of third-party conflicts when distributing external reports
- Confidentiality until public release of research reports
- Respect for data privacy and protection of client information
- Timely delivery of services and adherence to stated timelines
- Clear guidance and caution for complex/high-risk products
- Honest and ethical treatment of all clients
- Confidentiality unless legally required or consented by client
Grievance Redressal Mechanism
Direct Complaint: Investors may contact the Research Analyst directly. Grievances will be addressed within 21 days.
Online Complaint: Use SCORES 2.0 (SEBI's centralized grievance system): https://scores.sebi.gov.in (opens in new tab)
Escalation: First review by RAASB, second review by SEBI. Complaints may also be filed via SMARTODR for online conciliation/arbitration.
